Most of us can remember when our grandparents, no matter how dear, seemed to be out of sync with our modern world.
They didn’t quite get rock n’ roll music or dancing, mini skirts, direct telephone dialing, 45 rpm records, automatic transmissions, electric clothes dryers and a whole lot of other stuff that our young minds and attitudes were excited about. Today I look around and wonder if maybe I have reached the “Grandma” stage (I am a grandmother but never thought that I was in that “stage”) of confusion about what the hell is going on.
