On Saturday, October 3, the town of San Miguel Allende celebrated the feast of its patron saint, Michael the Archangel. We were there as guests of our friend Nathan, who’s been living in San Miguel for some eight years. “One of the things I love about San Miguel,” said Nathan, “is that my car stays parked in the garage the whole time I’m here. Wherever I need to go, I can get there on foot.”
