Four years ago, I noted in this column that beautiful Lake Altilte, located near the pueblo of La Concha, 35 kilometers north of Barra de Navidad, had vanished. Now I’m happy to report that this lake has been resuscitated and, although a bit smaller in size, is once again as charming as ever.
