Without spoiling the full plot, a special someone arrives to show her the wonders of giving and receiving.
The music kicks off at 7 p.m. with Tapatio band Troiker experimenting with sounds from the 70s and 80s. Their infectious sound is sure to get the crowd moving.
The 1991 critically acclaimed film “Prospero’s Books” by Welsh director Peter Greenway will be shown at 8 p.m.
Finally, the evening will be rounded off by a DJ spinning jazz tunes from 10 p.m.

Papirolas
The Papirolas creative youth festival celebrates its 15th year with a great line-up of activities and presentations from guest of honor Nayarit.
Festival organizers say there will be over 300 activities for children and adults each day. A big draw will be “The world according to Mafalda” pavilion, says festival director Mayra Kitroser. Mafalda is a much-loved, idiosyncratic cartoon character created by Argentinian artist Quino and has delighted several generations of children.
The Nayarit pavilion will showcase the state’s folk art and cuisine. Patrons will also be treated to live performances by the Nayarit Children’s Chamber Orchestra and Tituba Ensemble (theater).
Workshops include plastic arts, music, dance, theater and more, so let the youngsters in your life know. Papirolas runs March 2 to 7, at Calle 2, Parres Arias and Periferico, the former site of the Zapopum fair. It runs from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Tickets cost 30 pesos. The festival is for young people aged 1 to 99 years old. Don’t miss it!

Around the world on bici
While most of us will settle for a Sunday trip along the Via Recreativa, Englishman Matthew Blake has been taking the bike-riding experience to a whole new level. He left his home in Banbury, England, on April 29, 2008 and set off to tour the world on his trusty bicycle.
The reason behind his trip is not only to fulfill a personal challenge but also to raise funds for orphans at the SOS Children’s Village in Chipata, Zambia, who have lost their parents to AIDS.
Last Thursday, Blake visited the American School in Guadalajara to share his experiences with students. After touring Mexico, he’ll head to Central and South America before pedaling his way through Africa.
