One of the big money raisers at the Ajijic Chili Cookoff is the raffle. Items donated by local businesses are raffled off every hour during the three-day event.
Unfortunately, some individuals not associated with the Cookoff have been soliciting raffle donations. Be advised that only the official representatives of the Cookoff have the appropriate identification in the form of badges.
The Cookoff board appreciates all generous donors but warns the community to deal only with the right people. In this way, the donors will be assured of getting credit for their generosity in the brochure and at the Cookoff.
