Democrats head down to Vallarta

PUERTO VALLARTA - The annual meeting of Democrats Abroad Mexico will be held March 7-9 at the Sheraton Bugambilias Resort in Puerto Vallarta.

All sessions at the meeting will be open to the public, with the exception of the election of new officers to lead the Mexico Chapter for the next two years. On-the-spot registration, however, will be available.

The agenda includes a Medicare accreditation and reimbursement project for Mexican health providers to benefit United States citizen seniors living in Mexico. An important announcement has been promised for this national conference.

A second panel will examine Mexico-United States relations, focusing on topics of interest to Americans living in Mexico, such as immigration trends, bilateral trade and commerce, international taxation, border and security issues and census and overseas voting concerns.

Further information for the Puerto Vallarta meeting is available at cb.democratsabroad2gmail.com, secretary.banderas@mexicodemocrats.org or from Paul Crist at (01) 322-222-4793.
