Young choreographer Jairo Heli calls his music and dance spectacular Fandango, “a contemporary view of the history of Mexico that shows the different faces of our intriguing country, but most importantly the new face of Mexico.”
It’s an apt description for a show that traverses centuries, incorporating the pre-Hispanic myth surrounding the birth of tequila, as well as a homage to a contemporary visual artist.
