Solid citizens help keep expats in the know

Bucerias pioneers Oliver and Rita Kollock built their home on the outskirts of town some 13 years ago.  But when they first viewed Bucerias during a vacation to Puerto Vallarta in 1989, they thought it was just a “dusty little town.” The couple put down a deposit on a home in the Lake Chapala area, but really wanted to be on the beach, so they returned to Bucerias the next year and with the help of realtor Lee Gibson found a pleasant spot to rent at Vista Hermosa, where they stayed for a month each winter for five years. Just a few blocks away they bought a lot in 1996 and built a casita.
