Vallarta area restaurants were among 50 Mexican establishments recognized for their quality by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
They are Thierry Steak House, Café des Artistes, Café des Artistes del Mar, La Palapa, Vista Grill, Emiliano’s, Kaiser Maximilian, Trio y Vite and Patio y Piaf (in Nueva Vallarta). The academy is considered the world’s premiere organization for awarding excellence in travel, cuisine, luxury products and services. Its annual Star Diamond Award is considered the pinnacle of achievement in the tourism sector.
