Saturday live broadcasts from the New York Metropolitan Opera start up again in early October at Guadalajara’s Teatro Diana.
The series has become a firm favorite with foreign residents of both Lakeside and Guadalajara. In addition to the excellent broadcast, visitors might also be interested to know that area around the Diana offers plenty of attractions.
For a start, you’ll find the best park in the downtown zone, an artisan craft center, a paleontology museum and a recently spruced up plaza with restaurants that serve up some of the best birria (goat stew) in the city. And all are in walking distance.
