A new Indian restaurant in town is good news, especially on the heels of the disappointments and closings of other such restaurants. It is a sad fact that Guadalajara does not seem to be a city much enamored of the exotic flavors of Indian cuisine, even though many dishes are very much like the mole from Oaxaca, Puebla and other southern climes. However, when this is pointed out to a Mexican, or when they can be induced to try Indian cuisine, as were my dining companions at Little India, the reaction can be positive.
