Mexican cuisine’s grandest lady

British-born Diana Kennedy, the queen of Mexican cuisine, visited Lakeside last week for a reception at the Lomas de Ajijic clubhouse, where she presented her new book, “Oaxaca, al gusto.” Kennedy has been collecting Mexican recipes and writing about them since the late 1950s. She has written about the exotic dishes of Oaxaca in some of her other publications but this is her first book dedicated to this Mexican state.
