When the powers-that-be at the Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG) become indignant with government policy, they have thousands of ways of putting pressure on the politicians.
Historically, the UDG hierarchy has never harbored reservations in calling 200,000-plus students out en masse whenever they feel slighted or believe an injustice has occurred.
