Jalisco Governor Emilio Gonzalez has accepted that his unpopular plan to build an elevated 23-kilometer highway slicing through the heart of Guadalajara is not going to fly and will concentrate his efforts of moving forward with a third subway line for the city.
Yet another Jalisco Congressional commission this week gave a thumbs down to the Via Express, with legislators criticizing its poor planning and presentation.
