Cardinal Jose Francisco Robles Ortega will formally assume his role as Archbishop of Guadalajara on Tuesday, February 7 at a ceremony at the Estadio Tres de Marzo in Zapopan.
Around 60 bishops and 500 priests are expected to attend the ceremony, which takes place at 5 p.m. at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara’s soccer stadium on Avenida Patria. Around 22,000 tickets for the event will be distributed through a network of local parishes.
