Officers at the Chapala police department will be zipping around the area on the lookout for wrongdoers thanks to a new fleet of Honda-150 motorcycles.
The eight new bikes were purchased last month and given test runs during the annual Mardi Gras festivities. They were subsequently sent back to the Honda shop to be equipped with sirens, flashing lights, insignia and metal plaques to enhance protection of the engines.
