With the recent acquisition of four new garbage trucks, the Chapala government is ready to move forward on revamping door-to-door refuse collection services, including separation of household wastes.
On January 23 the city’s sanitation department rolled out two 2012 model garbage trucks with seven-ton holding capacity, plus two smaller 2011 models with 4.5-ton capacity, all equipped with trash compactors.
