Mexico plans obesity blitz

Seven out of ten Mexicans have difficulty controlling their weight, according to the Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social (IMSS). And one in every three adults in Jalisco is obese, according to a national survey on health and nutrition. That study also shows that 22 out of every 100 adolescents and 19 out of  every 100 children between the ages five and 11 are obese.
