Despite added bilateral tension between the United States and Mexico, due to the slaying of three people involved with U.S. consulate in Ciudad Juarez, U.S. first lady Michelle Obama’s plans to make her first solo official trip abroad will go unaltered, according to White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs.
Obama, who is scheduled to visit Mexico City from April 13 to 15, will seek to engage the people of Mexico and build on a recent conversation with Mexican First Lady Margarita Zavala de Calderon on education and economic advancement, he said.
