Manzanillo art showing

Everyone is invited to the inaugural showing of a large mural by Robert Hill at Schooner’s Restaurant (formerly Rosalba’s), next to Pemex/OXXO in Santiago, on Friday, November 13.

Hill has worked for more than three months to complete the mural, and considers it to be one of his best works.  Titled “Adam and Eve’s Pool in the Garden of Eden,” it is painted as a triptych on three panels and measures 8 ft. by 8 ft.  The work was commissioned by Ron McConnaughay and Rosy Rincon, and will hang above the circular staircase in the entrance to their beautiful home overlooking the bay at Club de Yates.

The showing of the mural is from 6-9 p.m. Dinner reservations can be made by calling 333-0488 between 1 and 7 p.m.
