The number of confirmed dengue fever cases in Jalisco through August 6 is 695, of which 95 are the potentially more serious hemorrhagic variety, state health authorities say.
The municipality of Puerto Vallarta has reported the highest number of cases at 198, followed by Cihuatlan with 110 and Zapopan with 59. Only the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca, Colima and Yucatan have reported higher numbers.
