Norman John Boucher

Norman John Boucher died suddenly in Ajijic on August 10.

Born in Milford, Massachusetts on September 19, 1934, Boucher was educated at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Ratheon Co. for more than 30 years on various defense contracts, including the Patriot Missile System. He and his wife, Dorothea, moved to Lakeside in 2003.

He leaves his wife, Dorothea Boucher of Ajijic; his sister Teresa Moore and her husband Paul; his daughters Donna Boucher of Westford, MA., Birgit Julia and her husband Matthew Marsh of Canton, MA., Karen Jehnich Tate and Uta Jehnich, both of San Rafael, California and several nieces and nephews.

Boucher was a devout Catholic, an avid and enthusiastic Boston Red Sox fan and a wonderful husband and father. His friends and family will remember him as a very sincere, honest man, always offering a helping hand and making people laugh with his wonderful sense of humor.
