As a former officer of the Chula Vista Association, we would like to comment on the roots of the current turmoil.

I am writing in reply to a letter signed by Ruby Diamond and Roberto Fernandez, regarding Chapala City Hall’s refusal to sell a public street in Chula Vista to the 2009 President of Chula Vista’s Neighbourhood Association, Gary Bradley.

We have tried to stay clear of the cat fight between what is known as the Gary Bradley board and the Janet Peace board in Chula Vista. We do not know either person but the recent letter from Wendy Penner, an associate of Peace, has compelled us to speak.
